Back to Wall Toilets

A back-to-wall toilet is a pan designed to sit flush against the finished wall, hiding the pipe run behind it. The cistern is either concealed inside the wall behind a flush plate or mounted directly behind the pan, leaving only the pan and a tidy floor joint visible.

A close coupled toilet has the cistern bolted directly onto the back of the pan, usually leaving a small gap to the wall. A wall hung toilet hangs the bowl entirely off an in-wall frame with no floor contact. Our back-to-wall range keeps the familiar two-piece, close-coupled cistern layout but pushes the pan hard against the wall, so the wall line reads as clean as a wall hung installation while the cistern stays accessible behind the pan instead of inside the frame.

Yes — rimless bowls appear on selected models across the range. A rimless pan removes the inner rim where residue collects, so water flushes around the bowl directly. Check the model page's feature list for the models offered rimless.

The standard wall outlet is a 180 mm P-trap, with 185 mm on selected models and S-trap floor-outlet versions available on specific models. Each model page prints its rough-in, so confirm there before planning the waste position.

The P-trap wall-outlet format is built for European and British bathroom programmes. Compliance documentation across cUPC, CE, UKCA and WaterMark is available on request, and the export desk confirms the paperwork set for your market with the order.
