CH10603 is installed on a concealed wall-hung frame (sold separately) — it is a wall-hung rimless pan, not a floor-standing or close-coupled unit. Across European and UK bathrooms, wall-hung is the mainstream choice because the soil pipe is pre-run inside the wall (same-floor wall drainage), so a concealed-cistern frame is the natural, cleanest fit. The pan uses a P-trap wall outlet with the waste centre 55 mm from the finished wall, connecting through the wall to a standard 110 mm soil pipe. The steel carrier frame — not the wall or tiles — carries the full load, so it is fixed to the floor and rear structure (or embedded in a stud wall) and tiled over with a false wall. Once the frame is set, the pan simply clips onto it; later valve or seal servicing is reached through the flush-plate service window without breaking the wall.

CH10603 is fitted with a dual-flush valve giving a 4 L reduced flush for liquid waste and a 6 L full flush for solids (4/6 LPF). Against older single-flush WCs that use 9–13 L per flush, the half-flush cuts water per liquid visit by roughly two-thirds, typically lowering total toilet water consumption by 25–30% across a household. It supports EU Water Label, UK Water Label and WELS (Australia/NZ) efficiency marking where required.

CH10603 uses an open-rim (rimless) bowl with no concealed rim cavity for dirt and bacteria to hide. Daily care is a quick wipe around the open rim — no need to scrub under a boxed rim. The optional nano self-cleaning antibacterial glaze further slows limescale and stain build-up, and the quick-release UF/PP seat lifts off in seconds for thorough cleaning.

CH10603 is supplied with a UF (duroplast) or PP soft-close, quick-release seat sized for its bowl (body width 360 mm). The quick-release hinge removes the seat in seconds for deep cleaning, and the adjustable hinge spacing (typically 70–170 mm) fits the pan. Top-fix installation is ideal for wall-hung setups where under-pan access is limited — the seat fixes from above into the pan's seat anchors.
